O’Day, 42, called Trump Jr. “very cheap” in a post on X Wednesday, September 16. “He was always known to be very cheap,” she wrote. O’Day said she heard people around him make similar comments when they were together. She then joked that his “fairy godmother” may have fixed the money issue.
The comments came after a ProPublica report about Umar Kremlev, head of the International Boxing Association. The report said Kremlev spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on expenses tied to Trump Jr.’s wedding celebrations in the Bahamas. It reported that Kremlev paid for a private island, fireworks and other major costs. Trump Jr. and his wife later described Kremlev as a friend who gave them a generous wedding gift.
O’Day continued with another personal comment about Trump Jr. She wrote that his father skipping the wedding was “way more telling about how far his healing journey went.” She added, “No amount of money ever made his dad love him the way he needed … and that’s sad.” Donald Trump said the timing was “not good” and later cited government business for missing the May wedding.
O’Day and Trump Jr. previously had a relationship while he was married to Vanessa Trump. O’Day’s latest comments add another personal layer to the discussion surrounding Trump Jr.’s wedding expenses.
